I have a very experienced sports background having played rugby for Lowestoft and Yarmouth RUFC for over 20 years including 9 years in the 1st XV. I played Norfolk and Waveney League Squash for over 10 years and I’m a keen cyclist regularly covering 80-150+ miles per week all year round. I’m also a member of local cycling club VC Baracchi and take part in the occasional Time Trial and Road Race.
I qualified in 2013 as an ITEC Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist and as such I’m completely up to date with the latest theories and techniques. Having worked as a scientist for over 13 years, I only use proven methods or those backed by sound scientific theory.
I have worked at both the Mens and Ladies Aegon Tennis Summer County Cup, and the Mens version in the autumn, with elite and professional players. I’ve also worked with the players at Lowestoft and Yarmouth RUFC and many of the areas top cyclists, marathon runners, triathletes and other sports people including winners of multiple World Championships. My own sporting experiences included many injuries, some serious, which is invaluable when dealing with a clients own problems.
As a member of the Sports Massage Association you can also be confident that I’m First Aid qualified and fully insured. SMA members were the providers of Sports Massage at the London 2012 Olympics and the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
